**Powertools Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby**

Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a busy family owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer-every time.

Due to continuing growth, we seek the services of a suitably experienced person with a passion for power tools and their associated products.

**Our ideal applicant will have/be**:

- Experience working in a retail environment or working with power tools
- Customer service excellence ethos
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or handling
- Technology savvy, or have a willingness to learn
- Punctuality, reliability and honesty as a natural trait

**The duties of this role**:

- Creating epic experiences for our customers that make their shopping journey simple, easy, and brilliant when it matters.
- Creating moments of ‘surprise’ and ‘delight’ to make our customers feel valued, and ensuring they know we’ve got their back
- Ensuring our customers always feel welcome by acknowledging, helping them connect with the right experts and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit.

This role reports to the Powertools HOD, works within a passionate team and involves working on a fixed roster basis, which will be from Tuesday to Saturday.
