They are looking for an outstanding Medical Receptionist/Personal Assistant (PA) to join their well-respected team.

**The Role**
The Medical Receptionist/Personal Assistant (PA) is a pivotal person in the practice environment. As the first point of contact with patients and visitors, you will coordinate the service and have a major role in prioritising workflow. An emphasis on patients’ individual needs is imperative.

Your passion for helping others will ensure you shine in this exciting and varied role and going the extra mile, is just how you roll.

There are opportunities for learning and development and relevant training is provided. You will enjoy a great mix of autonomy and the opportunity to make the position your own, along with team collaboration and support from the Practice Manager.

This is a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week), and the practice is in Greenlane.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reception management on all five days
- Managing patient appointments and referrals, registration and follow up phone calls
- Booking and organising theatre lists with the hospitals
- Overseeing the waiting room including greeting and updating patients
- Finance administration including patient invoicing, banking, and reporting
- Claim preapprovals for appointments and procedures
- General office management and providing cover for receptionists on times of leave
- Providing clinical support during examinations
- Attending meetings and performing other tasks to maintain smooth and effective service.

**Your Background**
- A clinical qualification and/or previous experience working in a medical environment
- Proven track record of working with confidentiality
- IT savvy and knowledge of medical software e.g, Elixir
- Competent using the MS Office Suite especially Excel and Teams
- Experienced on Xero.
