We are looking to hire a highly skilled hairdresser to provide various hairdressing services to clients based on their needs, specifications, and preferences. The hairdresser's responsibilities include providing salon services and treatment, greeting and welcoming clients to the salon, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and recommending suitable hair care products to clients. To be successful as a hairdresser, you should be detail-oriented and able to build rapport with clients.
Ultimately, an outstanding hairdresser should be able to follow clients' instructions, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and keep abreast of the latest hairstyles and hairdressing techniques.

**Stylist Job Description and Responsibilities**
- Performing all salon services
- Redeeming vouchers
- Stocking shelves with salon products
- Taking phone calls and making appointments
- Doing the bestto fill in staff timetables with clientsin a profitable and beneficial way
- Maintain the salon in a clean and tidy standard
- Collecting the correct client data into the provided booking system
- Ensuring clients are charged correctfiguresforservices andproducts
- Handling cash and other forms of payment
- Reading clients notes andhistory priortotheir arrivalto bewell prepared.
- Ensuring company equipment is handled with care
- Ensuring clients are provided with excellent care and service
- Reporting to company Manager with any concerns and/or complaints clients, staff or suppliers
- Working with other members of the team to ensure a great work environment
- Taking social media content and sharing itto the shared album

**Hairdresser Requirements**:

- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Patient and detail oriented.

Location of the job: Silverdale, Auckland
Hourly rate: $30 per hour
Number of minimum hours per week: 30
Number of maximum hours per week: 45
