**BUTCHERS**

We are looking for qualifed butchers to join our butchery team at the brand-new PAK’nSAVE situated in Highland Park, Auckland - opening Feb 2025.

Shifts Available:

- Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sun (5am-3pm) - 38 hrs
- Tues-Sat 6am-2:30pm - 40 hrs

**Duties of the butcher include**:

- Breaking, boning, slicing and cutting all carcasses and meat in preparation for sale.
- Assisting in the daily operations and general needs of the Butchery Department.
- Ensuring only quality product is presented for sale.
- Assist with production planning and prioritizing of work to ensure we meet the demands of our Butchery Department.
- Happy to help and advise customers with any queries they may have, ensuring excellent customer service standards are delivered at all times.
- Understanding and complying with all compliance requirements in regards to Health & Safety and Food Safety.
- Working effectively in a team, ensuring working areas are well organized and managed.

**Our ideal applicant will have**:

- Knowledge and passion about the butchery trade and the production of quality meat products.
- Relevant butchery qualification or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in the overall success of the Butchery Department.
- Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.

The pay rate will be between $30 - $32 per hour depending on experience.
