Does interning this summer as a Hardware Test Engineer, working on our best-in-class technology solutions for the Agriculture sector get you excited?

**Your Position**

As the Hardware Test Engineer Intern with Trimble Agriculture, you’ll be involved in enhancing simulation tools used for testing code changes, bug investigation, analysing software features and functionality, tracking issues, and verifying software enhancements.

There will also be opportunities for real-world experience in the agricultural scene, operating a tractor running AutoPilot at our test site.

**What You Will Be Asked To Do**
- Establish and achieve goals using sprint scrum methodologies and contribute to the retrospective meetings
- Improve device and user inventory by building tools using Python
- Enhance simulation hardware used to test devices
- Perform tasks based upon testing criteria
- Use of E-Tools software to track and log issues.

**What Experience You Should Bring**
- Be currently studying mechatronics, electronics, hardware engineering, or similar
- Some experience in writing Python code
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

**About The Agriculture Division**

Trimble's Agriculture division builds precision farming systems, including displays and automated guidance systems for agricultural vehicles. Farmers use our guidance systems to automatically steer their tractors with highly accurate GPS/GNSS-based control. Our display systems automatically control farm implements performing operations like planting seeds, spraying fertilizer, and measuring crop yield in an optimal way based on soil conditions and agronomist prescriptions. Our Android displays send the farm data to our web-based farm and fleet management system Trimble Agriculture business software. We save water, fuel, chemicals, and time and increase crop yields along the way.
