**About the role**

Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and emerging leader to join our Surgical and Ambulatory Services division as Operations Manager for ORL. This role is ideal for someone ready to take on their first substantial operational portfolio and make a meaningful contribution to service delivery and team performance.

Working alongside the Clinical Directors and the General Manager, youll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of ORL services across North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals. Youll help drive service performance, support clinical excellence, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

**About ORL at Waitematā**
Our ORL service provides care to a diverse and growing population across the Waitematā region. With a strong focus on innovation, patient-centred care, and multidisciplinary collaboration, we are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes in both acute and elective settings.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead operational delivery across clinical and clerical teams, ensuring services meet performance targets and patient needs.
- Collaborate with senior clinical and operational leaders to enhance service quality, efficiency, and experience.
- Contribute to strategic planning, business case development, and resource management.
- Support service transformation, including redesigning outpatient models of care and increasing service delivery at Waitākere Hospital.
