About the role:
We are seeking a Faultsperson (Cable Jointers, Line Mechanics and Electricians) who are interested in joining our faults team. This role involves responding to faults, to achieve timely reaction and rectification on the Dunedin network. Primarily focused on daytime fault response this role may require some after-hours responsibility.

Ideally you will be a a qualified and Registered Electrical Worker with a Practicing Licence who is keen to progress and looking to make a step in your career.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Live electrical work experience - ideally as either Line Mechanic, Cable Jointer, Electrician or Technician
- Glove & Barrier qualifications will also be an advantage although not essential.
- Competence in system switching will be an advantage.
- A good work history that demonstrates a safe work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive approach to personal development and the development of others.
- A demonstrated safety first approach.
- Great customer service skills.
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios whilst always ensuring safety.

**More about the role**:

- This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week
- Overtime will be paid after 40 hours at a rate of time and a half
- The wage range for this role is $35-$40/hour (gross) - dependent upon qualifications and experience
- This role is based in Dunedin, Otago, South Island of New Zealand
- Travel within the South Island may be required from time to time to assist with outages and/or emergency work in other regions.
