Childrens Librarian

**Job brief**

**Responsibilities**
- Engage fully in the implementation of innovative and compelling library programmes for children of all ages.
- Provide excellent frontline services to library customers, with an emphasised service to children and youth
- Work with the children's team and library staff on the development of holiday programmes and children/library events.
- Sole charge responsibility for the operations of the Mobile Library when rostered.
- Shift Leader on the weekend (day worked), will be responsible for rostering of staff.

**Requirements and skills**
- Minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Full Drivers licence
- Ability to multitask
- A patient and friendly personality

**Hours of Work**

Wednesday 8:30 -5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Thursday 8:30 -5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Friday 8:30 -5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Saturday 9:15 - 5:15 pm (30 min lunch)

**Pay Rate**

Grade 10

$60,720 (PR)
