**Te**kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Plant Resource & Supply Coordinator to join our Canterbury team.

This role is responsible for optimising plant utilisation across the Canterbury region and ensuring our resources are effectively planned, allocated, and maintained. You will also oversee the operation of the Downer McLeans Island store - sourcing, procuring, handling, storing, and distributing equipment and materials that support project delivery.

Working collaboratively across all Transport and Infrastructure business units, you will be a key point of contact for internal clients, ensuring a professional and efficient service that supports a true One Downer approach.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of the Downer McLeans Island store, including procurement, stock handling, storage, and distribution
- Build strong relationships with key managers and supervisors to support internal service delivery
- Proactively schedule COF/WOF, repairs, maintenance, and servicing to maximise plant availability
- Conduct monthly stocktakes to ensure full accountability of all stock itemsChampion Zero Harm and sustainability in all decisions

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

- Proven success in asset coordination, resource optimisation, or similar operational roles
- Proficient with technology and software systems (JD Edwards or similar preferred)
- Class 1 and 2 Full License
- WTR and Forklift endorsements
- Ability to build influential and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersInitiative and problem-solving capability - motivated by achieving outcomes
