Monday to Sunday - 40 hours per week

Cater Plus is proud to be selected as the food service provider for HBH Senior Living. HBH Senior Living are specialists in high-level care for older people, offering a full continuum of care from independent apartment living to day programmes, rest home, hospital and respite care.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cook (Aged Care experience is a plus) who has a passion for good food done well. Someone who enjoys creating healthy and nutritious meals and understands the impact it can have on one’s health and wellbeing. You will need to be an experienced Cook that will be actively involved in the cooking and service of all meals, the day-to-day running of the kitchen, and making our client smile

Role Involves:
Prepare, cook, and serve wholesome food (including soft meals) for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
Adapt menus to cater for varied dietary requirements
Discuss food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff
Demonstrate understanding of, and ability to implement New Zealand Food Control & safety regulations
Maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
