Our activity is a bucket list item for most of our guests and our crew play a massive part in delivering this "dream come true" experience. **Key skills and experience required**: Our Skippers are responsible for the management of our vessels and crew, to ensure procedural compliance in line with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and the company's MOSS system. We are seeking applicants with commercial experience, who will ideally have: - Skipper Restricted Limits; equivalent or higher commercial sea farer qualification - Current First Aid Certification - Sound mechanical and vessel maintenance knowledge - Experience operating vessels over 12 metres, cruising up to 24 knots - Full Drivers Licence (P Endorsement an advantage) - Reasonable level of fitness for this physically demanding role - Confident and effective communication and customer service skills - An ability to entertain and a good sense of humour; both an asset in this role - An ability to function well in what can be at times, a high pressure role - Some knowledge of New Zealand marine and pelagic species; although full training will be offered **The Right Opportunity for You?** We are a 7 day operation and rostered shifts will include some weekend hours. **We respectfully request no agencies please
