We currently have a **casual position** available - typically work 1 to 2 days a week (include some weekends).

**Does this sound like you?**
- Have a background in first aid, health field and or workplace training, or have an interest in emergency care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Have experience in a teaching environment
- Semi-retired from either ambulance or nursing who would like to make a difference to people's lives
- Recently finished their study and looking for a start in this exciting and challenging industry
- Already a first aid trainer and wanting to work across a range of organisations and industry sectors

**We require**:

- a full driver's licence and the ability to travel using our vehicle
- proof of full Covid vaccination prior to commencement of employment

**About MediTrain**

MediTrain is a private training establishment (PTE) registered with NZQA and have been providing First Aid courses throughout NZ for over 30 years. Our First Aid courses are recognised by the Ministry of Education and meet the minimum workplace requirements specified by WorkSafe NZ. All our instructors meet the CMR and NZRC requirements sent out by NZQA, and they are friendly, highly qualified, and enthusiastic about providing First Aid skills to our community.

We have a strong emphasis on staff development and working together in a collaborative team. Our vision is to actively contribute to the safety of all New Zealanders through:

- Provision of skills and confidence to enable community members to cope in emergency situations;
- Equipping people with the skills necessary to be confident first aiders in accordance with compliance requirements (e.g., WorkSafe NZ); and
- Promoting accident prevention in households, businesses, community groups, education organisations and the wider community.
