Massage Therapist

We are looking for a full-time Massage Therapist to join us in Wellington.

At least 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above qualification in massage, health or rehabilitations.

Must be able to work on weekends and be flexible for the shifts.

Pleasant personality, ability to work unsupervised and in a team.

Good in time management.

Responsible and hardworking.

**Responsibilities**:
Brushing, kneading, rolling, pressing and rubbing the area between each of the joints.

Massaging soft tissues of the body such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing.

Utilizing a range of massage techniques to aid in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal condition.

Administers treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.

Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provides rehabilitation advice.

Employing other techniques, such as acupressure.

Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercise and relaxation techniques.

Ensuring hygiene and complies with occupation health and safety regulations.

Working hours: at least 30 hours to 50 hours

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

- Lower Hutt, Wellington: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
