Director

Kerikeri Retirement Village Limited is seeking an experienced Director to join our board to bring our number to the full complement of seven.

The board meets in person bi-monthly, plus the AGM. Our meetings are held during the week and are approximately 4.5 hours long.

There are other expected commitments to fulfil in between meetings for project and committee work. Appointments are for three years with a maximum

possible of 3x3 year terms. This appointment will be a casual vacancy until the AGM in November ratifies the appointment.

We are seeking a person with the following skills/experience to fulfil our skills matrix:

- An experienced Director who demonstrates best practice principles
- Demonstrated alignment with our values and the ability to challenge and bring independent thought
- Positive stakeholder engagement with well-developed networks in the Far North
- A Te Ao Māori perspective with strong connections to mana whenua and iwi within our rohe
- Experience in the health arena, familiarity with issues pertaining to social and health services
- An affinity with aged care/people who are older
- Connection with government strategies related to the health and aged care arena
- Business and commercial acumen
