Are you a reliable, hands‑on technician looking for a stable role with variety, growth, and the opportunity to work across two North Island branches?

Our polystyrene manufacturing business is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated Technician to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, can adapt quickly, and is willing to travel between Hamilton and Whangārei on a weekly basis depending on business needs.

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for supporting daily production operations across both branches, ensuring machinery runs smoothly and products meet quality standards. This is a full‑time position with a split‑roster arrangement, requiring flexibility to work at either site.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Operating and maintaining polystyrene manufacturing machinery
- Monitoring production processes and ensuring quality control
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and general factory duties
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Travelling between Hamilton and Whangārei branches as rostered

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation (polystyrene experience an advantage but not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel weekly between branches
- Full NZ driver licence preferred
