What will you do?

As part of our Built Environment service group, in this role you will be a key member of the delivery team designing a wide range of projects throughout New Zealand. Encompassing a blend of BIM co-ordination, modelling, documentation, and delivery management, this role will see you bringing our clients’ ideas to life.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. You will be part of our building services team, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire protection engineering, along with providing digital support an advice to our clients and projects.

The main aspects of this role include:
- Coordinating the modelling of building services designs going into large municipal projects such as hospitals, as well as hotels, apartments, commercial office buildings and industrial facilities Effectively setting up Revit models in BIM360 that will then be used by clients, architects, engineers, and modellers- Modelling and delivering building services projects in Revit, however experience of, or an interest in, programming further efficiencies in Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper or other software would be highly advantageous- Use clash detection tools (e.g Revizto, BIMTrack, Navisworks)- Managing and quality checking modelling work carried out by dispersed & remote teams both in NZ and further afield- Co-ordinating with other disciplines by federating models for the early identification and resolution of clashes- Facilitating virtual and mixed reality sessions for co-ordination and consultation purposes, and be interested in the research and implementation of new BIM technology into project work

You can be at the beginner level of your career or have a bit of experience. We will provide you with the right support to guide your career in a pathway that you aspire to have. Demonstrated design experience in one or more engineering disciplines is not essential but will be an advantage.
