Swim Instructor

Napier Aquatic Centre is on the look-out for the next generation of dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our Swim Instructor team in facilitating our QSS accredited Learn to Swim programme.

As a Swim Instructor at Napier Aquatic Centre, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping confident swimmers and ensuring water safety for generations to come. Delivering lessons to a range of different learner groups, from babies (5mths - 3yrs) through to pre-schoolers (3yrs - 5yrs) and school aged children within a group structure; your expertise will empower others to embrace the water and conquer their aquatic goals.

Full training and support, including your certification, will be provided.

**You will need**:

- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with swimmers of all ages.
- Passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to helping others achieve their aquatic goals.
- A dynamic, warm friendly and confident personality and ability to project a strong customer service focus.
- Excellent time management

**Please note** - this is a permanent, part time position working a minimum of 21 hours per week, available between 9:30am and 6:30pm Mon - Sun, term time only. We have various shift patterns available and can be flexible for the right person.
