With several existing and new long term panel contracts with leading Power Utilities across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and the UK, the Jacobs Power team continues to grow with the aim of becoming a leading provider of engineering solutions in Transmission Line Design. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: Our Transmission Lines business requires a Senior Design Engineer who has experience in scoping, feasibility, design and delivery of medium to large overhead transmission line designs. You’ll be the focal point of delivery in Overhead Transmission Lines. Clients will view you as a respected, trusted adviser with the capability to deliver business requirements on time and on budget. This opportunity is open to the following locaitons Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington and has the following responsibilities and experience requirement: - Oversee the technical direction to engineers locally and in our Global Delivery Centres to enable the delivery of design packages, including complex PLS-CADD models on HV line projects. - Deliver technically compliant design solutions for overhead line engineering, including transmission line earthing, LFI/EPR and EMF studies. - Manage and undertake technical reviews of project deliverables and participate in project and client meetings. - Actively support the achievement of growth targets in sales and revenue through client interaction, development of clients, achieve strategy and proposal development, interviews, and presentations. - Mentor and develop fellow team members to grow the Jacobs offering in Transmission Line Engineering. - Relevant Tertiary Degree. **Jacobs.
