Warehouse Picker/packer

Tastie Distributors Ltd is seeking a self-motivated, reliable, energetic Warehouse Store person to join our busy and friendly team.

The position, based in our Henderson Warehouse will be primarily to assist with the Monday - Wednesday workload. The Shifts will need to be approximately 8 hours a day with the possibility of overtime negotiated during our peak times.

After reporting to the Warehouse Manager daily your main tasks will be (but not limited to):
Picking and Packing orders
Strapping orders and wrapping pallets
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Accurately recording inwards good

You must possess a high level of Punctuality and great organisational skills, processing the ability to meet tight deadlines and have a proactive approach in high pressure environments.

To be successful at this job, you will need:
Experience in general warehousing
A good level of fitness - able to lift moderate to heavy cartons
Previous experience driving a forklift.
Good PC, numerical, and communication skills,
Good understanding of Safe Manual Handling techniques and warehouse OSH requirements
Accurate attention to detail
Experience in stock management
Be able to cope in a busy work environment
A sense of humor
and an enthusiastic team player who shows initiative

Advantageous attributes:
A Full New Zealand Class 1, 2 Drivers Licence
Reach Hoist experience
Hold a current forklift Licence
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
