Oversees and directs operations for the Optical Department and the areas of the warehouse. Must be a qualified Optometrist.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

- Schedules, develops, counsels, trains and directs department personnel. Makes recommendations for hiring, promotion and termination to the Warehouse Manager.
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service. Responds to member concerns using problem solving skills, tact and direction.
- Approves and submits orders for equipment, product and supplies.
- Coordinates proper maintenance and repairs for machinery and equipment.
- Oversees and participates in duties of Licensed Dispensing Opticians. Fits and adjust eyeglasses, completes eye exams, dispenses contacts. Rings orders and collects payment when necessary.
- This is a full time position (40 hours per week) Late nights and one weekend day work required.

Non Essential functions and tasks:

- Assists with Front End duties as necessary.
- Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary
