Finance Graduate

Isthmus is an award-winning, integrated design studio that blends architecture, graphic design, landscape architecture and urban design. Established in 1988, we are guided by a clear set of principles and ideas; our kaupapa is based on deepening the relationships between land, people and culture.

We now have an opportunity for a recent Finance Graduate to join our collaborative studio environment. The role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau and the primary focus of the role is to support the finance team with accurate and timely accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.

**This role is responsible for**:

- Processing accounts payable; preparation of payment batches for approval, entering and reconciling to statements ready for payment.
- Assist in preparation of monthly invoices and statements.
- Reconciliation of third-party costs
- Maintain aged payables.
- Provide support with Debt collection processes.
- Reconcile Bank Accounts and assist with cashflow management.
- Provide Payroll support as required.
- Assist in the preparation of IRD taxation compliance; GST/RWT/PAYE.
- Assist in the preparation of Month End including subledger reviews.
- Maintain Fixed Asset register.
- Assist with monthly management accounts and dashboard preparation.
- Support HSE Coordinator with carbon calculations and relevant reporting and audit requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc accounts data analysis.
- Support to the operations team & concierge.

**About you**:

- A recent relevant tertiary qualification.
- Confident in performing tasks unsupervised.
- Positive, curious attitude
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a high attention to detail.
- Enjoys learning and being part of a high performing team.
- Strong communication skills with a desire to form relationships at all levels.
