We are looking for a new Network Manager for our Eastern Bay of Plenty State Highway Maintenance Contract (NOC). We are seeking someone who is motivated by a road network with plenty of physical and climatic challenges, has proven experience in the monitoring of network performance, can successfully lead the Contract’s stakeholder management processes, and can oversee the delivery of the annual plans and forward works programmes

Operating principally from our Contract base in Rotorua you will administer a 530km highway network across three district council areas and a diverse range of environments. You will have a financial management focus with the ability to manage forecast costs to achieve budget requirements. An understanding of contract documents and the proven ability to deliver Contract Monthly and Quarterly Reports is essential. A working knowledge of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency funding rules and reporting processes is also desirable.

As a Manager, you will need to be able to create successful teams where your people will want to consistently deliver excellent work as well as having a passion for what they do. You will lead with trust and integrity while promoting our values and our people to be a part of our “Green Team”.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Significant industry experience with previous experience in a NOC environment at senior level being desirable
- A working knowledge of H&S requirements in the Civil Engineering industry
- Formal tertiary qualification OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
- Proficient Computer skills (MS packages)
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enable the building of effective relationships with key personnel, including supporting teams at the senior management level
