**Clinical Equipment Co-coordinator - Te Whatu Ora Lakes**
**Permanent part time position (16 hours per week)**
Te Whatu Ora Lakes are seeking an enthusiastic, diligent and reliable individual to join our Clinical Equipment Pool team on a permanent part time basis, ideally working a Tuesday and Wednesday. Supported day to day by a senior and experienced Clinical Equipment Coordinator, this new position will support the growing demand to manage the timely distribution of clinical equipment to all areas of Rotorua hospital.
Duties include:
- Providing daily co-ordination and oversight of equipment entering and leaving the pool
- Ensuring clinical equipment is well functioning and maintained to a high standard
- Ensuring that customers (ward staff) have the right equipment, in the right place and at the right time, to provide the critical patient care required for our Lakes community
- Assist in the education of ward staff about the correct use and maintenance of equipment
- the ability to work within a fast paced and busy stimulating environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- the ability to work independently to get the job done
- be confident and comfortable to work in a team
