**MEAT PACKER/BUTCHERY ASSISTANT**

- Are you comfortable handling raw meat?
- Full time position available, early morning starts 5am, mixture of days and weekends. Must be flexible in availability to work extra shifts when required.

We are looking for someone to fill the role of Meat Packer/Butchery Assistant, must have high personal presentation standards, a high degree of self motivation, have the ability and feel comfortable handling raw meat, enjoy working in a cold environment and have a passion for all things ‘meat’. This position demands a considerable amount of lifting.

The successful applicant will also need to have the desire to excel, the ability to use their initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position.

There is an opportunity this position could lead to you becoming apprentice butcher.

You will be responsible for assisting in making sure the packing and presentation of all meat is undertaken as per the Food safety/business guidelines / expectations, as well as general cleaning duties.
