Not only is water our most precious resource but it’s a hot topic in the Wellington region and nationally. Our cities are growing and we are planning our three water services to meet the future demands.

We operate and maintain the four water treatment plants and work across the region.
**Where you come in**

The Maintenance Fitter position sits within Wellington Water’s Asset Maintenance team. The key purpose of this role is to keep the plants running reliably and producing high-quality water to our communities.
**We are looking for someone with**:

- The relevant engineering/trade certificate in fitting and welding or turning
- Experience working on industrial equipment and systems
- Computer literacy and able to input and access data from a laptop or iPad
- Knowledge of work practices to keep you and your workmates safe and healthy
- Full, clean driver’s licence essential
