Responsible for facilitating and co-ordinating service user access to the range of clinical services and teams that this centre provides
Permanent, full-time (40 hours) per week, Monday to Friday - based in Manaaki House
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Te Te Whatu Ora I Te Toka Tumai has four adult community mental health centres (CMHCs): Manaaki House (Panmure), Cornwall House (Greenlane), Taylor Centre (Ponsonby) and Kainga Tiaki (Mt Eden).
We provide a range of high-quality therapeutic programmes with a strong multi-disciplinary focus. You'll be continually stimulated and challenged as you work with a diverse group of clients presenting a range of mental health needs.
The Referrals Management Service (RMS) is the front end of our business and we are looking for an experienced mental health professional to oversee our assessment and liaison role. Working within Referrals Management Service, you will be responsible for facilitating and co-ordinating service user access to the range of clinical services and teams that this centre provides. This includes managing and triaging all non-urgent referrals, dealing with enquiries from GPs, the public, external agencies and referrers. This role provides the opportunity to work very closely with the Primary Care Liaison team. Work is Monday to Friday and can be full or part time. It's also possible to engage in a combination of RMS/ key worker/ community acute service work if that's your preferred gig.
For further details, please refer to the position description here.
