**About the role**:
In this rewarding position, you will directly influence primarily senior level secondary students as you share your experience, skills, and training a practical, hands-on experience.

You will have the opportunity to grow students’ knowledge of industry trends, master technical skills and develop important soft skills by combining the provision of quality tutoring and being an inspiring mentor all to build student capability, and support students in achieving both their study and career goals.

**About you**:
For this role we are looking for a skilled and experienced Cookery professional with a passion for the industry and educating future leaders. You will need to be a strong communicator, able to motivate and inspire young adults, try out new things, and most importantly maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude. You need to be able to connect and build relationships with all your students so the ability to respect and appreciate differences is certainly a must.

At NZMA we are all about taking our students on a journey to learn about the current industry challenges, innovations, and techniques. Therefore, recent experience in the Cookery industry is required, and you should hold a relevant qualification at level 4 or above.
