**OSCAR Programme Assistant**:
**Manawatu / Wanganui, Palmerston North, Awapuni**

$23.15 - $25.00 Hourly

Permanent Part time

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their day? Join our team as an **OSCAR Programme Assistant** in our before and after-school programme

**Hours**:

- ** Before school**: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- ** After school**: 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
- You don’t have to be available for all shifts as we could do a job share situation._
- ** Additional hours** will be available during school holidays.

**About the Role**:
As an OSCAR Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and engaging with children during programme hours.
- Organising and participating in activities (sporty or artsy individuals are a great fit).
- Preparing snacks and assisting with cleanup.
- Picking up and dropping off children, ensuring their safety at all times.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A love for working with kids and some experience in child supervision (babysitting counts).
- Creativity or energy to lead active and engaging activities.
- A **full driver’s license** and comfort driving children.
- The ability to pass police vetting for working with children.
