We are looking for 2 cash in transit security officers based in Christchurch.

**You must have**:

- Good observation skills
- Comfortable and confident in speaking to others
- Take pride in appearance (most roles require wearing of uniform)
- Honesty and integrity
- Ability to work in a high security environment
- Roles may involve working shifts and/or working nights
- You must be highly committed and turn up to work unless you have a reasonable excuse
- Role requires, multi locations/client sites within Christchurch

We will provide you with all mandatory and necessary training as long as you are able to meet the above requirements.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Cash collection, delivery, guarding and supply
- Cash collection and processing
- Secure banking and recarry services
- Ensuring all Company safety standards are being adhered to
- Being physically and mentally fit with the ability to undertake necessary manual handling tasks as required
- Ensuring efficient processing of cash and other valuables
- Maintaining accurate cash processing records and verification to ensure balancing.
- Identifying and report all discrepancies
- Adhere to strict security and operational procedures and rules
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Patrol sites to check for threats like hazards and intruders
- Enforce rules or laws on sites and call for assistance from emergency services
- Control access to sites for staff, customers and contractors
- Monitor electronic security systems including cameras and alarms as and if required
- You may need to write reports of any suspicious activities during your shift.
- To be clearly visible
- To be vigilant
- To respond quickly and correctly during a crisis
- Observing and reporting
- Strictly following documented procedures and processes
- Maintain a high level of customer service with customers and public
- Adhere to agreed communication protocols
