**Mō **te tūranga | About the Role**

Sloss Service is a double staffed house located in Halswell at the Hohepa Farm; you will be supporting four men aged between 25 to 49 alongside a colleague. They enjoy having a good laugh with one another in a positive environment with some good practical jokes Sloss Service enjoys attending the Hōhepa Festivals, swimming, going for drives in the car and helping with the cooking. The men have varying intellectual disabilities such as autism and down syndrome with different support styles**.**

This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.

**Nga **haora kua tohua | Rostered hours**:

- Sunday to Wednesday 3pm to 8pm

Total Hours per fortnight: 40

Your aroha and approach is what really matters at Hōhepa - previous experience is not a prerequisite because we provide on-the-job training. You will either be an experienced Support Worker looking for a change or you are simply looking for a career where your enthusiasm and passion for helping others will make a real difference in people’s lives.
