Are you passionate about teaching Māori Indigenous Arts, to enable Tauira success and contribute to whānau transformation through Education? If you answered yes, then this is for you

As we are a kaupapa Māori organisation, we require our kaimahi to participate and engage in kaupapa onsite. This is to help develop confidence, understanding and grow capability within our kaupapa of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

This is a **full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed-term (until 14 December 2025) position based at our Porirua Campus**. You will be required to develop lesson plans, present material to tauira, respond to tauira's learning needs and evaluate and communicate tauira's progress. You will assess tauira progress and be able to monitor assessments.

**Mōu | About you**

To be considered for this role, you will hold the following qualifications and experience:

- Diploma in Māori Arts focusing on Raranga
- NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 (NZCATT) or equivalent, or be willing to complete in the first year of employment.
- Full NZ Driver's License
- Proven experience in a related role with specific skills and knowledge in Raranga
- Adult teaching experience
- Advanced in spoken and written te reo Māori

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
