The main duties of this role is to manage the Assembly/Buildex team and establish daily production schedules. The planner's responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to Sales BDM, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to meet despatch targets. Enabling the BDM to spend more time customer facing without needing to oversight paint and assembly workload.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all employees adhere to company and OHSE policies and procedures;
- Manage workload and staff requirements in Assembly and Buildex, coordinate work in a team environment under limited supervision;
- Attend and report at Daily Operational meeting, maintain and update monthly reporting;
- Evaluate Sales orders to create suitable production schedules;
- Manage and create works orders to maintain stock integrity;
- Estimate the amount of material and labour required for production;
- Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labour, and equipment availability;
- Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimise delays.
- Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that customer priorities meet despatch targets;
- Promptly inform the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules;
- Post Works orders and release stock for sale;
- Compile status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner;
- Manage all communications with Purchasing, Trade Centres and Sales;
- Actively problem solve and report systems issues, including warehouse picking, invoice, and order issues;
- Investigate and report on any NCR that come back to Assembly/Paintbay;
- Be a secondary point of contact for all 80s customers; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- 3 years' + experience in Production Planner role;
- Highly skilled in excel and data analysis;
- Proven experience managing a team;
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software, Pronto;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Knowledgeable of material requirements planning and able to manage production deadlines; and
- Effective communication skills.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certified in Production and Inventory Management(CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous
