We are seeking skilled and passionate **Restaurant Managers** for two of our Restaurants in the Auckland region. Our restaurant showcases the finest in Vegetarian, Vegan and Jain cuisine, complimented by an exceptional dining experience built on careful attention to every aspect of service, food, atmosphere and beverage selection.

The Restaurant Manager will be required to perform the following duties
- **Control Efficient Operation of the Restaurant**: Ensure smooth operations from front-of-house to back-of-house and implement procedures to maintain high service standards.
- **Lead Recruitment, Induction, and Training of Employees**: Manage the recruitment process and conduct induction and training for the restaurant staff.
- **Foster High Customer Service Standards**: Promote excellent customer service among employees and monitor the feedback on customer service interactions.
- **Collaborate with Kitchen Staff for Menu Planning**: Work with the Chef, and the management to plan and update menus.
- **Create and Manage Staff Schedules**: Develop and maintain staff schedules, address scheduling conflicts and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- **Coordinate Weekly Stock Ordering**: Identify stock needs and place weekly orders with suppliers and monitor inventory levels to avoid over-ordering.
- **Receive Deliveries**: Verify deliveries and ensure quality standards are met.
- **Handle Daily Banking**: Manage cash handling, deposits, and financial records.
- **Analyze Weekly Sales & Inventory Reports**: Review and analyze reports to identify trends and improvements.
- **Ensure a Safe Working Environment**: Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular inspections.
- **Handle Customer Complaints**: Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- **Provide High-Standard Service**: Deliver exceptional service when handling inquiries and needs.
- **Manage Budgeting and Financial Transactions**: Oversee budgeting and ensure financial targets are met for the restaurant.
- **Ensure Compliance with Health Regulations**: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Assist in Taking Orders**: Assist with taking orders during busy periods as needed. Support front-of-house staff and maintain a visible presence.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $30 to $34 per hour.

**Other requirements for the role**:

- Minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience or minimum relevant Level 5 qualifications.
- A Duty Manager certificate is highly preferable.
- Available to work late evening shifts
- Available to work on weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
