**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and identify potential hazards.
- Lead and coordinate risk assessments and safety planning for new and ongoing projects.
- Deliver HSE training and induction programs to employees, contractors, and site visitors.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate HSE practices into all project phases.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, legislative changes, and emerging safety trends.
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on Tier 1 projects.
- Relevant HSE qualifications, Degree or Certificate
- Experience working on large scale building projects from $100m upwards
- In-depth knowledge of local and national HSE regulations and standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Experience in conducting training sessions and safety inductions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
