With our opening date set for November 2024, we are seeking a Seafood Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community.

**The Role**:
Reporting into the Butchery & Seafood Manager you’ll assist in running the daily operations of our seafood department and managing the seafood team.
- Assist the Butchery & Seafood Manager to meet department targets and operational delivery standards.
- Ensure all product meets the highest standards, is fresh and displayed attractively for our customers.
- Listen to customers to find out what they want and need in one simple shop.
- Search constantly for areas to improve our seafood operations, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist in delivering on commercial outcomes to drive growth in the store

**What we’re looking for**:

- You’ll have a passion for seafood and a good eye for quality and presentation.
- Prior experience in the food or retail industry in preferable.
- SAP and stock ordering experience is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Great people skills and leadership potential.
- Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program.
- Reliable, self-motivated and be a good team player.
- Proven customer service experience.
