We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Supervisor to join our team in Masterton.

In this role you will be the key contact for your division when it comes to clients of the construction business. You will be involved in tendering and assisting the division to achieve targets within the strategic plan.
Day to day you will be responsible for the profitability and management of operational, financial and performance matters of customers within the Construction Contracts, while supporting the Central Region. This will involve improving operational efficiency, asset management, management of staff and their development and achieving goals set in health and safety, quality and environmental management.

**Experience**:

- Extensive technical and practical experience in relevant contracts (5 years minimum)
- Proven staff and asset management experience (2 years minimum)

Key Competencies:

- A relevant management or technical qualification at tertiary level, NZCE Civil or equivalent.
- Skills within financial, marketing, negotiating, strategic planning and change management.
- Project Management skills
- HR and people management skills
- Computer Skills

- A commitment to health and safety, quality assurance and environmental management.
- Self-motivated, driven and action oriented to drive success.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team through excellent written and verbal communication.
