Auckland City, New Zealand Mitre10 Full time

Mitre 10 MEGA has a wide and extensive range of seasonal wares such as Heating and Cooling Products, Camping Equipment, Outdoor Furniture and BBQ’s.

We need someone that can connect with the customers through great customer service, active listening and excellent product knowledge to make sure the customer is leaving with the right product to meet their needs.

Duties
- Generating sales by offering friendly, helpful & knowledgeable service to each & every customer that shops with us
- Strive to achieve departmental sales targets & objectives
- Maintain high merchandising standards & manage stock
- Work closely & provide assistance in other departments if required

Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be solutions driven
- Must be able to work on a roster including weekends
- Product knowledge and previous retail experience will be viewed favourably
- Previous experience selling big ticket items that require installation, such as heat pumps and fireplaces, would be a bonus

We have 3 Full-Time positions available at our Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate store:

- 2 x 40 hours - Tuesday to Saturday
- 32 hours - Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

And 1 Part-Time position at our Mitre 10 MEGA Henderson store:

- 16 hours - Saturday and Monday
