About the Role
The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) functions as a vital member of the Integrated Operations Centre team. The HCA will perform delegated patient care duties, housekeeping duties and food service duties to enhance the satisfaction level of the hospitalised patient in the area.

About You
You will provide efficiency and quality of care by focusing on patient's comfort/concerns resulting in the freeing of nursing time.

**You will also possess**:

- Reliability and flexibility.
- A strong work ethic.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Successfully completed the Health Care Assistant or Health Support Assistant training or a NZQA approved National Certificate in Support of the Older Person (level 3) or a National Certificate in Community Support Services (level 3) is preferable.
