Maintenance Fitter

We are looking for 3x Maintenance Fitters to work over 3 shifts Morning/Afternoon/Night shift - 8hr shifts You maybe required to work weekends as per to running of Production Plans.

**Key Skills**:

- Trade qualified or trade experienced
- Understands and follows H&S and food safety rules
- Mig/Tig SS & MS welding for repairs and basic fabrication
- Ensures work meets quality & safety standards
- Can undertake machine adjustments
- Experience with conveyors and tracking belts
- Can perform alignment of shafts/couplings correctly
- Communicates at all levels
- Understands and performs machine parts fitting to specifications and optimizes machine performance
- Can dis-assemble and re-assemble machinery with appropriate new parts to specification
- Able to competently use or operate hand and machine tools to accomplish assigned tasks
- Can conduct FMEA or RCA on equipment failures
- Understands schematic drawings
- Can troubleshoot and tune hydraulics/pneumatics
- Can perform general machine diagnostics and troubleshoot
- Understands and can undertake conditional monitoring of equipment and take required actions
- Can follow PM tasks, organize personnel and equipment to complete tasks on time and budget
- Can install seals, bearings and check clearances
- Limited Electrical license advantageous

Ideally certified for working at heights, forklift driving, mobile elevated platform and confined space entry's.
