Butchery Packer Supervisor

We at New World Waihi have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Butchery Packer Supervisor to join our wonderful Butchery Department.

**Days and Hours**:

- This is a **permanent** **full-time** position working **Friday to Tuesday.**:

- **Wednesday and Thursday day off.**

**Great Wage Rate for the right person.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all meat displayed in the case is correctly trayed, wrapped, and labelled.
- Assisting with customer enquiries.
- Ensuring the meat cases and freezers are appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are always maintained.
- Assisting in ensuring 100% price integrity in the department including ensuring all ticketing is changed over appropriately and special tickets are appropriately displayed on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring all meat is clearly labelled and packed correctly for sale.
- Assisting in ensuring all deliveries are unloaded in a timely fashion thus avoiding wastage.

- Excellent Food and Health & Safety standards.
- A good eye for detail, make sure all cabinets are clean and tidy.
- Ability to handle high workload and busy butchery environment.
- Experience in this role.
