Education Perfect is currently seeking a talented Office Manager to join the Dunedin Team. The Office Manager will work closely with the Operations Team, and will ensure the smooth running of the Dunedin office and other shared office spaces across the globe, as well as focusing on culture building initiatives across the company. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role for 12 months.
The role will be responsible for:
**Office Administration**
- Day-to-day management of the Dunedin Office including:
- Ordering weekly groceries, cleaning supplies and office supplies
- Ensuring the cleaning schedule is followed and completed daily
- Executing on office improvement initiatives and regularly reporting on progress to the wider Operations Team
- Assisting with the organisation of meetings and training sessions, along with the necessary calendar management
- Assisting with staff travel bookings (flights, accommodation, transfers, etc.)
- Sending packages when needed
- Being the go-to person for external Residents who lease our office spaces.
**Culture & Events**
- Organising EP’s weekly and monthly social events and meetings (incl. post food and drinks)
- Reviewing how to include all staff (in office and remotely) into EP initiatives
- Increasing shared office engagement and liaising with shared office coordinators to organise events
- Working with the Operations Team to organise large EP social events
- Sharing updates with the broader company, highlighting key updates
- Assisting with the organisation of any additional events and activities to promote a positive office culture.
**Onboarding**
- Ordering new starters tech equipment in a timely manner
- Organising and posting EP swag bags for new starters in a timely manner
- Ensuring EP merchandise stocks are regularly reviewed and ordered.
- Playing a critical part in building a world class culture that reflects EP’s values
**Skills & Attributes Required**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great time management
- Be highly organised and proactive
- Ability to solve problems and recommend process/procedure improvements
- A high level of energy and commitment to getting the job done to a very high standard
- A good understanding of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
- A current right to live and work in NZ
