**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
- This Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) role plays a crucial part in protecting the organisation's assets, personnel, and information. The SME is an expert on the organisation's physical security hardware and technology, possessing in-depth knowledge of access control systems, CCTV or surveillance systems, intruder detection systems, and relevant building standards, along has a deep understanding of physical security principles, including protection in depth and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). This expertise is essential in ensuring that the technical aspects of the organisation's physical security programme align with the overall Te Whatu Ora Security Strategy.
- The SME acts as a trusted advisor to senior management and project teams, providing expert guidance on all aspects of physical security technology. The role works closely with strategic, tactical, and operational physical security experts to ensure that the organisation's security posture remains effective and up-to-date.

- Experience in physical security roles, spanning government, corporate, and high-security environments (in the range of 5+ years).
- Proven expertise in integrated security systems, including design, integration, procurement, and management.
