If so an exciting opportunity has become available to work as a PRIMHIS Clinician/ Therapist and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at PRIMHIS in the beautiful, multi-cultural setting of Rotorua.
About the role
We are looking for a versatile Clinician with proven therapy skills to join our multi-disciplinary team at Primary Mental Health & Intervention Service (PRIMHIS) in Rotorua. You would be working across a range of clinics in the Rotorua region, offering best practice brief therapeutic interventions within the framework of Feedback Informed Treatment to people with mild to moderate mental health concerns. There may also be opportunities to facilitate groups, work with young people and collaborate with primary care colleagues, such as Health Improvement Practitioners.
Service hours - Monday to Friday 8 -4.30 pm (possible option for evening clinics)
We have 1.3 FTE available & will consider both full & part time positions.

About you
- You will have experience with the right talking therapy skill sets to work within primary mental health using a brief intervention approach.
- You will have the ability to formulate and adapt your approach to the unique situation, needs and cultural identity of the individual.
- You will be an experienced, motivated and reliable clinician with ability to work autonomously in a role that requires high level relational skills with all our stakeholders.
- You will be a registered health or social care professional with a current APC (or are eligible for and seeking registration)
- You will hold a current full clean NZ drivers license, and meet requirements for the children's worker safety checks.
Salary range - $59,035 - $120,691
As per relevant MECA pro-rated to hours worked.
