**Joining a small team of advisors, you will be responsible for your region, and supporting the wider team reporting to the Head of Safety.**

Our client is a real industry leader, being environmentally responsible and believing in sustainability, quality and service. They cover services from household to commercial waste management, recycling to landfills and everything in between.

**About the role**:
Our client is in a real period of growth and transition so therefore is needing to expand its health and safety team. Responsible for creating an environment where everyone feels safe, you will have an inquisitive, innovative, proactive and collaborative approach. Assisting the organisation with their journey to fully integrate safety, you’ll support the shift in culture to a more risk-based model. Working alongside a nationwide team of 7 you will predominantly be working on site with the option to WFH occasionally. Travel will be required throughout the region.

**Duties will include**:

- Risk management
- Incident, investigation, and management
- Systems maintenance and monitoring,
- Site based auditing and reporting
- Identify remedial actions
- Developing - Lead Indicators
- Being competent with Technology
- Build robust relationships with stakeholder across the business

**Skills and experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Excellent understanding of risk management standards, practices and frameworks

You will work closely with the safety team to provide a best practice, collaborative, business partnering approach to health and safety in this high risk, dynamic and progressive industry, with the goal to improve health and safety performance and culture for all people within the organisation.
