Mō te tūnga | About the role
In this role you will work autonomously and be responsible for
the co-ordination and management of patient flow processes for te Nikau

**Hospital**: weekdays, after hours, weekends and Public Holidays. You will
demonstrate a wide-ranging career expertise and a pragmatic, organised approach
with an obvious passion to multitask and make sound decisions on the go. These
skills will be key to your success in this interesting, challenging and varied

- Demonstrated positive
leadershipPost graduate experience in leadership and
management and/or experience in nursing leadership is a definite advantage but
all applicants will be considered based on the applicants' career experience,
and desire for a senior leadership position.

This role is at times is both challenging and
demanding, plus at the same time is rewarding and never dull Therefore, we are
looking for someone who is collaborative by working alongside and in
partnership with the senior nursing team, wider nursing colleagues and external
DHB's/providers to provide an optimum service delivery for all users.

**You will have**:

- Broad 'acute' clinical experience and excellent collaborative

skills that will enable you to communicate effectively across all disciplines
and occupational groups.
- Extensive nursing experience either clinically or in a relevant
senior nursing role.
- Expert clinical nursing knowledge with demonstrated leadership
ability and sound people management skills.
- A solution focused approach to your work with the ability to

- Acute medical or surgical experience is essential
