As a Night Cleaner, you are responsible for cleaning the Front and Heart of the House areas and creating a welcoming environment for our guests and fellow colleagues.

What you will be doing:

- Clean and reset assigned areas of the hotel in accordance with standard housekeeping procedures. Areas may include, but are not limited to: restaurant, kitchen, public/common areas and the Heart of House.
- Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
- Prepare and Deliver Room Service Orders as requested
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers’ instructions.
- When guest report lost property take all relevant information and pass on to housekeeping.
- Clean and maintain locker rooms, team member and public washrooms/toilets.
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Respond timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items e.g. cribs, cots, extra towels etc.
- Organise time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
- Working overnight from 11pm to 7:30am on a rotating roster.

This is a **full-time position** working on a rotating 7-day roster across the Ibis and Novotel Wellington, with a wage of **$25.09 per hour PLUS a night allowance from 12am to 5am**
**Qualifications**
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
- NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit. (immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role)
- A first aid certificate is favourable
