Pak ‘n Save Wairau is committed to offering a friendly focused working environment. We are looking for someone to fill the role of Bakery Assistant who has high personal presentation standards, a high degree of self-motivation. The successful applicant will also need to have the desire to excel, the ability to use their initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position. Reporting to the Bakery Manager/ Bakery Production Manager you will be responsible for helping to ensure the department runs smoothly and all appropriate targets are met. Key tasks for the role will include making sure the department is merchandised to the desired standards, packing the bread and cakes, cleaning within the department and dealing with customer enquiries. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
