**The Role**

We are looking for a Part Time Yard Supervisor/Driver to manage the fleet of vehicles at our Blenheim School Depot. You will ensure refuelling and vehicle cleaning standards for the business are met as well as managing the timely servicing of vehicles Ensure that general yard maintenance is carried out to meet allocated time frames. Driving a daily school run is also be part of this role.

**Specific tasks, but not limited to, include**:

- Manage the timely servicing of vehicles
- Ensure the vehicle off road report is up to date to support effective decision making
- Monitor advanced maintenance report weekly and plan accordingly
- Monitor COF report weekly and plan accordingly
- Maintain all vehicles with a current COF/WOF
- Manage the timely repairs and maintenance for all vehicles as required
- Liaise with the Mechanical, Electrical, Air conditioning, Glass and any other contractors that are engaged to work on vehicles
- Arrange and effectively communicate the delivery and pick up of vehicles to contractors
- Ensure vehicles are compliant - COF,WOF, servicing, registration & RUCs
- Manage presentation of vehicles - internal and external
- Maintain a list of vehicles that are out of service and their expected return dates in accordance with SOP’s
- Liaise with the depot operations staff with respect to upcoming charter work requirements (fleet & staff)
- Look after the waste management in the depot
- Allocate replacement vehicles as required
- Supports building & yard maintenance requirements
- Jump start vehicles as required

**What you need**:

- Class 2 & 4 Licence
- P endorsement
- A mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Cleaning knowledge and standards
- Awareness of the NZTA Legislation
- Ability to adapt and cope with change
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- NZ Residency or valid NZ work visa
