We have a vacancy at Ascot Hospital for a **Sterile Stores Assistants**. If you enjoy **physical work**, are dynamic and energetic with a positive can-do attitude, and you're a great team player - we want to hear from you.
This is a 0.9 FTE postion - 36 hours per week, working 8 hr shifts across Monday to Friday - with variable start and finish times. You'll be responsible for **monitoring and maintaining our sterile store supply to the agreed stock levels**, and for ensuring a continuous supply of sterile items to our operating rooms.

We're part of the Healthcare Holdings Group of companies and are New Zealand's largest private surgical facilities with 22 theatres across three sites including ICU and cardiac intervention facilities. **To be a successful member of the Sterile Stores Team, you'll have**:
- Previous experience working within a warehouse or stores environment (experience managing and maintaining stock levels would be great)
- Previous experience working in the operating room environment (preferred)
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently - but also be an effective team member
- Good command of verbal and written English with effective communication skills
- Have a keen eye for detail
- The ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation, including within our operating rooms and central sterile supply department teams
- A stable work history
