We are looking for a **Junior Sous Chef **to help support the Cluster Executive Chef in delivery service and food excellence. The successful person will have great passion for food, delivering amazing dining experiences and will be a team player. Someone who loves their presentation of food to not only tantalise onlookers, but tastes sensational too
With the support of a well-versed & experienced Executive Chef & dynamic kitchen team around you, we know you will be motivated & encouraged to achieve your best and feel valued as you contribute to the success of the hotel. The opportunity is for a full-time permanent role with minimum 40 hours of work per week, between Monday to Sunday as per roster.
**What you will be doing **
- Food preparation, storing, and service delivery to customers as per Naumi standards
- Work towards exceeding customers expectation by encouraging and promoting a high level of service
- Stocktakes when required and to have a basic understanding of food costing & manage the kitchen assets
- Ensure all complaints, inquiries, and suggestions by guests are attended to accordingly in absence of Sous Chef/Cluster Executive Chef
- Gain the practical and theoretical knowledge in all aspects of Kitchen work
- Constantly train and upskill all kitchen hands, Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs
**Ideally you will have...**
- Three years’ Experience in a similar role, preferably in a concept driven environment
- Experience with Asian Cuisines and wok style cooking - a must have
- Excellent team and people management skills
- Confidence in your own abilities
- Flexiblity with shifts & working on weekends
- Enthusiasm, keen eye for details & advocacy for food & safety quality
